CDP at the 2026 ECOSOC Coordination Segment

On 29 January, Jose Antonio Ocampo represented the Committee for Development Policy (CDP) at the ECOSOC Coordination Segment. In a discussion on ECOSOC after 80: Strategic Imperatives for the Future, Professor Ocampo highlighted the need for changes in the way ECOSOC works in order to bridge the gulf between commitments and results in development. He also made considerations on the future of the global development agenda, a topic the Committee will be addressing in its upcoming plenary meeting (23-27 February).
