CDP at the Joint Meeting of the Second Committee and ECOSOC

On 11 October, Professor Sakiko Fukuda-Parr, Vice-Chair of the Committee for Development Policy (CDP), moderated the Joint Meeting of the Second Committee and ECOSOC on “New Perspectives on poverty eradication – insights for sustainable recovery”. The purpose of the meeting was to “explore hidden dimensions and dynamics of poverty and their policy implications”, informing the work of the Second Committee on its various agenda items and resolutions. Former CDP member Adil Najam participated as a speaker.
