CDP participates in EGM on SDG 8

Committee for Development Policy (CDP) members Keith Nurse and Rolph van der Hoeven attended the Expert Group Meeting on SDG 8: Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all organized by the Division for Sustainable Development Goals (DSDG) in collaboration with the International Labour Organization (ILO) and UN partners from 3 to 5 April 2019 in Geneva, Switzerland. The CDP Secretariat also participated in the event.

The meeting took place in preparation of the 2019 High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) and took stock of the progress towards SDG 8; assessed the interlinkages between SDG 8 and other SDGs; identified potential future challenges and prospects; and suggested concrete policy recommendations.
