Debating UN World Economy Forum, Sustainable Business Investment, and Sustainable Development Goals

Marcelo LaFleur, Economic Affairs Officer in the Development Policy and Analysis Division of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs participated in a panel discussion entitled “Debating UN World Economy Forum, Sustainable Business Investment, and Sustainable Development Goals” on 16 October in New York. Mr. LaFleur presented the main findings of the World Economic and Social Survey 2017 and participated in a discussion of the importance of the Sustainable Development Goals. The event was held at St. John’s University, organized by the Economics & Finance Society and The Peter J. Tobin College of Business.
