Sustainable Development Goals: SDG #8: Decent work and economic growth

The CDP Secretariat participated in the Aid for Trade Global Review 2017: ?Promoting Trade, Inclusiveness and Connectivity for Sustainable Development? (organised at the WTO in Geneva, from 11 to 13 July) and presented the ePing export alert notification system during a side-event on 12 July. The event was jointly organised by the CDP, WTO, ITC and Australia and was attended by around 150 participants.

This side-event provided an overview this new system and what feedback it has received at national and regional levels, but also identified challenges and opportunities for scaling-up this innovative tool to promote connectivity between SMEs and their export markets.

For the duration of the Aid for Trade Global Review, interested participants were also able to visit the ePing stand for a hands-on demonstration of the system.
