The Committee for Development Policy (CDP) will be participating at various events of the High-level Political Forum (HLPF) on Sustainable Development, taking place from 9 - 18 July 2018. The theme of this meeting, convened under the auspices of the Economic and Social Council, is “Transformation towards sustainable and resilient societies.”

The Vice-Chair of the CDP, Ms. Sakiko Fukuda-Parr, will be one of the lead discussants at the session on “Leaving no one behind; are we succeeding?” to be held on 13 July.
The Chair of the CDP, Mr. Jose Antonio Ocampo, will introduce the 2018 Report of the CDP (E/2018/33, Supplement No. 13) on 16 July 2018 as part of the ECOSOC High-Level Segment/Ministerial Meetings of the HLPF.
A series of Voluntary National Review (VNR) Labs, organized by the Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) will be held on the margins of the Ministerial Segment of the HLPF.
The Chair of the CDP, Mr. Jose Antonio Ocampo, will give the key note at the VNR Lab1 “Leveraging Interlinkages” on 16 July.
The Vice-Chair of the CDP, Ms. Sakiko Fukuda-Parr, will moderate the VNR Lab2 “Leaving No One Behind” on 16 July.
