On October 20, CDP Member Taffere Tesfachew addressed the joint meeting of the Economic and Social Council and the Second Committee of the General Assembly to discuss the opportunities, challenges, key policies and investments needed to build productive capacities in LDCs, LLDCS, SIDs and MICs. The meeting addressed key interventions and investments needed to enhance productive capacities, lessons learned, and sources of finance to support the development of productive capacities in LDCs.
