CDP member at the LDC5 - Prepcom1

On 28 May, CDP Member Taffere Tesfachew participated as panelist in session 6 'Mobilizing international solidarity, reinvigorated global partnerships and innovative tools for risk-informed sustainable development: a march towards sustainable graduation' of the LDC5 Prepcom. He stressed the importance of remittances as a source of financing for development in LDCs, having direct impact at the household level, and highlighted the importance of improving support to graduating LDCs to ensure a smooth transition.
