CDP Secretariat participates at WTO-PIFS Regional Workshop on LDC Graduation

From 22 - 24 October the Committee for Development Policy (CDP) Secretariat participated in the regional workshop jointly organized by the WTO Secretariat in collaboration with the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS) in Vanuatu. It brought together WTO members and non-WTO members from the Pacific Islands and included representatives from Kiribati, Solomon Islands, Tuvalu, Samoa and Vanuatu. The workshop aimed to improve the understanding and knowledge of participants on existing international support measures for LDCs and the trade related implications on LDC graduation and to build country capacity to address possible challenges arising from the loss of LDC-specific benefits.
