2022 Report of the Committee for Development Policy

The Report of the Committee for Development Policy (E/2022/33, Supplement No. 13) on its 24th plenary session held from 21 to 25 February 2022 is now available in all six official UN languages on the CDP website. The report addresses the following themes discussed by the CDP during the session: the contribution to the ECOSOC annual theme for 2022, “Building back better from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) while advancing the full implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”; the Committee’s inputs to the review by ECOSOC of its subsidiary bodies; an analysis of the 2021 voluntary national reviews (VNRs) of the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development; the monitoring of countries that are graduating or graduated from the list of least developed countries; the work of the Committee on developing and implementing an Enhanced Monitoring Mechanism for countries that are graduating or have recently graduated from the least developed country category; and, additional matters related to the least developed countries (LDCs).
