CDP Chair participates at ECOSOC's inaugural Coordination Segment

On February 4, the Chair of the Committee for Development Policy (CDP), Professor José Antonio Ocampo participated in ECOSOC’s inaugural Coordination Meeting. He stressed the centrality of productive capacity in global efforts towards an environmentally sustainable, equitable, development as countries recover from COVID-19. He also called for an open and inclusive debate on what needs to change in the multilateral system to support sustainable development through structural transformation.
