CDP members call on IMF to provide international liquidity for addressing impacts of coronavirus crisis

Jose Antonio Ocampo, Chair of the CDP, together with CDP member Kevin Gallagher of Boston University as well as Ulrich Volz from the University of London, called for an emergency meeting of the International Monetary Fund as soon as possible to agree on a rapid issuance of at least $500bn in international liquidity, in the form of additional Special Drawing Rights (SDRs).
