CDP Secretariat participated at DESA's side event on capacity building

The CDP Secretariat participated as panelist at DESA’s special event “Building Capacity for the 2030 Agenda – UN DESA’s contribution”, arranged on the sidelines of the work of the GA’s Second Committee on 27 November 2017 by the Capacity Development Office (CDO). The event featured panelists from the department’s different divisions describing the support provided to over 75 countries in different areas of capacity development along with the tools used, tailored to individual countries’ needs, to realize the 2030 Agenda and its 17 SDGs.

The presentation by the CDP Secretariat highlighted examples of innovative web-based tools, like ePing and the LDC Portal, that help LDCs to better utilize international support measures and to better understand and manage graduation from the LDC category.
