CDP Secretariat participates at capacity building workshop

The CDP Secretariat participated in the capacity building workshop on ‘Formulating National Policies and Strategies in Preparation for Graduation from the LDC Category’ held in Thimphu, Bhutan during 14 - 16 November 2017. The meeting was organized jointly by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) and the Royal Government of Bhutan to provide information on the graduation process, potential costs and challenges of graduation from the LDC category and how to identify policy measures and strategies to prepare for a smooth transition after graduation.

The CDP Secretariat gave a presentation on the ‘Overview of the graduation process’ in session 1, and lead discussions during the interactive sessions on the cost and benefits of LDC graduation.
