CDP Secretariat participates in ESCAP workshop on LDCs

On 30 April, the Secretariat of the Committee for Development Policy (CDP) participated in a regional workshop on graduation for least developed countries (LDCs) jointly organized by United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) and the World Trade Organisation (WTO) at ESCAP headquarters in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Secretariat gave a presentation on the type of international support measures available to LDCs and measures that help ensure smooth transition from the category, as well as on the challenges that LDCs may face in the run-up to graduation and during the transition period after graduation.
