Introduction of the 2014 CDP report at the High-level Segment of ECOSOC

On 7 July 2014 Professor Sakiko Fukuda-Parr, Vice-Chair of the Committee for Development Policy (CDP), introduced the Committee's findings on "Global governance and global rules for the post-2015 era" as part of the CDPs report on its 16th session at the High-Level Segment of the 2014 ECOSOC session.

The 2014 High-level segment of ECOSOC was held from 7 to 11 July 2014, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York and addressed the Council’s overall annual theme “Achieving the Millennium Development Goals and charting the way for an ambitious post-2015 development agenda including the Sustainable Development Goals”. It brought together high-level representatives of UN Member States, civil society actors, including non-governmental organizations, academia and the private sector, and the UN system.
